Production Procedures The First Step An initial consultation with the client is held where examples of edited weddings are shown. You tell us all about your special day and we will plan your wedding video coverage. Next comes the attendance of the rehearsal (and taping of the rehearsal when applicable - depends on options chosen). This gives the videographer the opportunity to meet the wedding party and meet with the officiating clergy. The site's policy for video, our audio needs and best camera locations are determined. This way, at your ceremony, the taping goes smoothly as possible and in harmony with both the wedding participants and the location policies. On the wedding day, the videographers usually arrives on site before you do to get the whole story. The pre-ceremony preparation events (If part of your wedding package), outside and inside shots of your ceremony location, and your family and friends arriving are captured. Once the ceremony starts, the cameras usually remain stationary to videotape the wedding. The groom and the officiate wear a wireless microphone (very small, black, and low profile) which is used for the vows. Coverage is discreet, respectful and unobtrusive. The wedding is covered with at least two manned cameras. This is the photography session after the wedding and before the reception. This can be a very romantic segment of your video with the looks in the eyes of the bride and groom as they gaze at each other and kiss one another for the photographs. You won't believe the feeling you get as you relive these moments in slow motion set to music! This could also be documentary clip of the photo session set to music. It all depends on how the photo session goes. Under certain conditions this portion may not be possible, such as time and space constraints, and if the photographer objects. All the major events occurring at the reception are taped from the "first dance" of the bride and groom, the "father and daughter" dance, and the "mother and son" dance, the toasts, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss and your departure. At the reception, a camera-mounted light is used if necessary, extra lighting is only used as a last resort. The coverage is totally interactive or totally discreet, we respond to your wishes, because it's your day! Most major events at the reception are covered with two cameras. Editing Your wedding production is done with a digital non-linear system. A fully digital editing system provides you superior video and audio quality. Music is added to the rehearsal, pre-ceremony, post-ceremony segments, and picture collages. All wedding packages include titles, special effects, music overlays, and as much time as it takes of post production editing to get your wedding video just right. To Reserve Your Date: A $500 retainer fee is required to reserve your wedding date and payment must be made in full 10 days before the wedding. LeTempt Video Productions reserves the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for this time and date. |
